Tonya Schütz

Senior Consultant for IfDS

Tonya joined the IfDS in March 2017 as a consultant with her profound experience in change and innovation management, results-based monitoring and evaluation, performance and knowledge management, personnel and capacity development.

She is currently supporting the the Permanent Okavango River Basin Water Commission in developing a pragmatic M&E framework that satisfies the needs of the Commission and its Member States Angola, Botswana and Namibia. The project is owned by the Commission’s Secretariat and funded by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). 

Before joining the IfDS, Tonya has gained substantial field experience on the project, program and policy influencing level with a wide range of organizations including IFAD, FAO, GIZ, CGIAR Centers and Research Programs and the private sector.

She has further worked on several independent evaluations either as an external consultant or internal liaison person. Her cross-cutting experience includes institutional analysis, capacity assessment, and quality management.
